I acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which I live, work and play, the Gumbaynggirr people.

I honour their custodianship, and acknowledge they have cared for this land since time immemorial.

I pay my respects to their elders past, present and emerging, and extend this to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from all the unceded nations across this continent.

I commit myself to the work required to ensure a future with reconciliation at its heart, and the systematic changes required to make this a reality.
